Wisconsin Dells: More Than Waterparks

Paul Bunyan’s Northwoods Cook Shanty is not to be missed. There is no menu. You eat what the cooks fix for supper that night. Our meal included fried chicken, pot roast and noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, tossed salad and fresh-baked bread. It comes to the table family style, meaning in bowls and on platters so members of the family can help themselves just like they would around your own table. Need more chicken? The server will be happy to deliver all you can eat. For $12.99 it includes your drink and dessert.

Get nostalgic at the Big Sky Twin Drive-In Theatres. This vintage drive-in has two screens that face one another. Let the boxoffice know which movie you’d like to see and they will direct you to a parking spot. Visit the concession stand for all the traditional goodies and you’ll feel like you just walked off the set of Grease.

Wisconsin Dells in the Waterpark Capital of the World but the attractions don't stop there. A go kart track winds through this Trojan horse at Mount Olympus Park.
